Lamborghini loves its special editions, always putting out at least a roadster and a lightweighted version of each model. That’s the basis for the latest rendering from TopSpeed: the 2017 Lamborghini Huracan LP640-4 Superleggera.

The Huracan Spyder came out in 2015, so a Superleggera version is next up. TopSpeed feels it’ll be like the Gallardo Superleggera, featuring not only a lower curb weight but also a power bump for more geometric lunacy.

TopSpeed thinks the Lambo Huracan Superleggera will feature loads of carbon fiber on the exterior. Being that it’s lighter than the regular Huracan, more aggressive aero parts for additional downforce are included in the rendering. The interior should have much Alcantara and carbon fiber

We’ve already heard the growling V-10 as the car’s been testing on the Nurburgring, and it’s great. The output increase could be somewhere around 30 horsepower, which combined with lightweighting will make a huge difference. Expect 0 to 60 acceleration that edges out the regular Huracan’s crazy 3.2 seconds.

In case you’ve missed it, spy photos and video of the Huracan Superleggera keep popping up all over the place. That probably means sometime in the near future we’ll finally feast our eyes on the production vehicle, maybe even the upcoming Paris Motor Show.

As far as pricing, the 2017 Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera should cost as much as the average home in the US and will be worth every penny.
