Recently, Porsche released all the juicy details surrounding its standard 911 Carrera, which received a new engine and other new bits. Today, the German automaker is releasing the information surrounding its Carrera 4 and Targa 4 models.

Under their hoods, the Targa 4 and Carrera 4 have the same 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine as the base 911 Carrera. This engine lays down 370 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque in its standard tune, while the 4S models pump out 420 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of twist. These numbers mark 20-horsepower and 44-pound-feet gains over the last Carrera 4 model, while the 4S gains 20 horsepower and 43 pound-feet of torque.

Though the engine is the same as the base 2017 911 Carrera, the Carrera 4 gains a new electro-hydraulically controlled all-wheel-drive system, hence the “4” in its name. With the PDK transmission and Sport Chrono Package, the Carrera 4 can hit 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds, while the 4S does the same dance in just 3.6 seconds. The Cabriolet and Targa models require an extra 0.2 seconds to hit 60 mph.

Other additions to the 911 Carrera 4 and Targa 4 include new modes for the Sport Chrono Package — Normal, Sport, Sport Plus, and Individual – and a new PASM sports suspension that puts the Carrera 4 10 mm (0.39 inches) closer to the ground than last year’s model

In terms of looks, the Carrera 4 and Targa 4 both carry the same revisions as the standard 2017 Carrera. On the front end, the changes include new air inlets, thinner fog lights, and revised four-point headlights. The doors feature new integrated door handle recesses for a smoother look and reduced aerodynamic drag. Finally, the rear end has new air outlets behind the rear wheels, center-mounted exhaust, wider rear reflectors, updated taillights, and vertical slats on the hood vent.

We’ll see the 2017 911 Carrera 4 and Targa 4 hit showrooms in April 2016. Pricing is as follows:

• 911 Carrera 4 $96,300
• 911 Carrera 4S $110,300
• 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet $108,600
• 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet $122,600
• 911 Targa 4 $108,600
• 911 Targa 4S $122,600
