Nissan Releases Pricing for the 2016 Versa Note and Frontier

The lead in to the 2016 model year is just about over, and Nissan is clearing out its list of carryover models for the new model year. Two such models are the Frontier and Versa Note, as Nissan has revealed pricing and very minor upgrades for both models.

The Nissan Frontier, which is due to receive a complete overhaul soon (maybe as early as next year), gets a few new colors for the 2016 model year, including Forged Copper, Gun Metallic and Magnetic Black, and a new Moonroof Package on the Crew Cab SV model. Otherwise, the Frontier is unchanged from top to bottom, including its standard 2.5-liter and optional 4.0-liter engines.

In terms of pricing, the base 2016 Nissan Frontier S King Cab 4×2 will start from $18,090, which is a $100 increase over the 2015 model year. The Nissan Frontier S Crew Car 4×2 starts slightly higher at $22,800, which is also a $100 price hike.

Moving into the 2016 Versa Note, the automaker has made all the equipment that was once part of the SV Convenience Package standard ware on the SV trim. These features include NissanConnect with Mobile Apps, a 5-inch color display, streaming Bluetooth audio, hands-free texting, SiriusXM Satellite radio, a rearview camera, and the Divide-N-Hide adjustable floor. Also new are two exterior colors: Cayenne Red and Gun Metallic.

The 2016 Versa Note will continue with the S trim level as its base, then it moves upward to the S Plus, SV, SR, and SL. The S trim starts from $14,180, which is the same starting price it had in 2015. The rest of the trims all follow suit, as their prices carry over unchanged with the S Plus starting at $15,430, the SV starting at $16,330, the SR basing at $17,930, and the SL starting from $18,660.

Both the 2016 Versa Note and 2016 Frontier are available at dealers now.
