Three years ago, Nissan released its quirky NV200 cargo van and surprisingly, it was a relative success. It gives companies that need a light-duty cargo van one that is easy to move around town, gets good gas mileage and still has lots of room for cargo. Sure, the NV is no heavy-duty work van, but it is perfect for delivery companies and other lighter-duty applications. As we head into the 2015 model year, Nissan has revealed pricing for the 2015 NV200 and a handful of enhancements to make the van even better.

Under the hood, things remain pretty much unchanged, as the 2015 NV200 still carries the same 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that develops 131 horsepower. Thanks to the addition of the next-gen Xtronic transmission, however, this drivetrain now gets a 1-mpg boost in highway and combined efficiency bringing it to 24 mpg city, 26 mpg highway and 25 mpg combined.

On the outside, the 2015 NV200 gains available rear sonar, an available sliding door glass package and two new colors: Cayenne Red and Graphite Blue. Inside the cabin an updated NissanConnect with Navigation and Mobile Apps is available.

Other than those changes, the NV200 soldiers on with its 122.7 cubic feet of cargo room, convenient 60/40 split rear doors and up to 1,480-pound payload capacity.

Despite the enhancements, pricing does not change much for the 2015 model year, as the NV200 S carries a base MSRP of $20,720 and the NV200 SV will start from $21,710. These prices represent a $230 increase for both trims. The 2015 NV200 is available at Nissan dealers now.
