Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class Goes Grand
If the Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class just isn’t luxurious enough, do we have something for you. Meet the GLS-Glass Grand Edition: a luxed-up version of the already well-equipped luxury crossover.
The GLS-Class Grand Edition, which will be a part of the 2018 model lineup, will be available with both the GLS450 and GLS550. It will add premium interior trimming like porcelain and Espresso Brown accents, designo Nappa leather seats with diamond quilting and Budapest-design piping, open-pore brown ash trim, a Nappa leather covered dashboard, ambient lighting, and Espresso Brown velour floor mats.
On the outside, the GLS450 version will boast 20-inch, 10-spoke wheels and an advanced LED intelligent lighting system. The GLS550 will boast 21-inch wheels and active LED headlights. Rounding out the exterior mods are “Grand Edition” badges.
There is no mention of just how much this Grand Edition package will cost, but we do know it’ll debut at the Detroit Auto Show and hit showrooms in mid-2018. If I were to guess, I would say this package will be in the $3,000 to $4,000 range.
