Last week, Mercedes revealed the shrunken S-Class Coupe that it is calling the C-Class Coupe. This sporty two-door will hit dealers in the spring of 2016, which means that the Mercedes-AMG-tuned C63 is just around the corner. Apparently, Mercedes had a private product reveal for the C63, and the folks over at Zero 2 Turbo managed to get their hands on a few snapshots of the upcoming model from the presentation.

The images, which apparently show off the C63 S – AKA the hotter version – are fairly low resolution, but they do give us a great look at this amazing piece of machinery. The C-Class Coupe features the clean lines of its four-door sibling in a package that resembles an S-Class Coupe that was left in the dryer too long. Add in the sexy styling bits of the AMG package, like the gloss-black front apron, wide air inlets, black rims, lip spoilers, rear diffuser and quad-exit exhaust, and you have one badass rig.

Shortly after reports of this image made their way across the Interwebz, Mercedes released a sweet teaser video of the newest addition to the Mercedes-AMG lineup. This video (below) gives us a quick look at a few bits of the new coupe and a healthy earful of its nasty 4.0-liter V-8.

Speaking of that V-8 biturbo engine, it will come in two states of tune. The standard C63’s version of the V-8 will deliver 469 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, while the S-Model will see its wick cranked up to 503 horses and 516 pound-feet of twist.

Reports indicate that the C63 will makes its official debut on August 19th, so we only have hours to wait before we get to see the entire vehicle and learn all the details about it. Stay tuned for more info.
