Land Rover is busy building up anticipation for its new family of Discovery vehicles. The first model that will be revealed is the Sport, which the automaker has been showing off in bits and pieces. The latest reveal was of the interior, which was briefly shown off in a dramatic video.

The model will be fully revealed on September 3, but for now we have learned some important details from the video. The interior features what appears to be reasonably spacious accommodations for up to seven individuals, with second-row seats that slide forward and back as well as recline. Considering that the Discovery Sport is set to replace the Freelander, which alone will make it considerably more competitive in the market.

In the video, the interior is also shown to be rather luxurious and modern, complete with a dramatic panoramic sunroof that takes up pretty much the entire roof. A high-definition navigation screen also makes a brief appearance, hinting that technology will be front and center in the new model.

Land Rover plans to reveal even more Discovery models, which will replace the current LR4 in the United States and add further to the brand’s lineup. The array of vehicles will be at least somewhat similar to the Range Rover, which features Sport and Evoque versions to broaden its appeal. Other than producing a new, full-size Discovery, little is known about what the brand has in store for the new family of SUVs or when the others will make their first public appearance.
