Jaguar Releases Pricing for 2016 F-Type

The Jaguar F-Type has been a huge hit since it debuted for the 2014 model year, both in terms of sales and media coverage. Seemingly, everyone has fallen in love with the new sports car, and it is getting exponentially better in 2016, thanks to the addition of all-wheel drive and a manual transmission. While the two drivetrain additions are awesome, there is even more to love about the 2016 F-Type, as Jaguar has added more standard features, a longer warranty, and free maintenance without dramatic price hikes.

The value of the standard equipment in the base F-Type increases by $3,550, thanks to the addition of 770-watt Meridian audio system, Jaguar Smart Key keyless entry, 14-way power seats, and a panoramic glass roof on coupe models. The F-Type S gains the Configurable Dynamic Mode, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and Switchable Active Exhaust. Lastly, the R Coupe receives a power tailgate, while all-wheel-drive models get an exclusive aero kit.

In addition to the extra features, the F-Type also gains a slew of new warranties and service plans. These include a five-year or 60,000-mile new-car warranty, a five-year or 60,000-mile complimentary scheduled maintenance plan, a five-year or 60,000-mile roadside assistance program, and a five-year, unlimited-mile Jaguar InControl Connected Car service.

What’s more, all of these new goodies come with minimal price increases. The 2016 F-Type starts out at $65,000 for the new manual-equipped coupe and $66,300 for the auto-equipped coupe. The latter is only a $1,300 increase over the 2015 model.

The 2016 Jaguar F-Type will begin rolling into dealerships in April 2015.
