Infiniti is doing what it can to remain competitive in the growing luxury car segment. Last year, it rolled out the long-wheelbase version of its flagship Q70 sedan, which gave rear-seat passengers more room to stretch out. This week, at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Infiniti is taking the Q70 even further with the introduction of the decked-out Q70 Premium Select Edition.

The upgrades to this new range-topping model are not over the top, but they are enough to distinguish it from other Q70s. On the outside, this new model gains dark-chrome trim, a darkened lower rear bumper, a rear spoiler, and unique 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in 245/40R20 rubber.

Infiniti didn’t stop at sprucing up the outside, as the cabin also has a few upgrades to speak of. These include Graphite- or Stone-colored semi-aniline leather seats, a faux suede headliner, aluminum trim, illuminated kickplates, and contrast stitching on the floor mats.

This new level of Q70 will be available starting in November 2015. Infiniti will offer it with standard wheelbase versions of the Q70 3.7, Q70 3.7 AWD, Q70 5.6, and Q70 5.6 AWD.

The automaker has yet to reveal pricing for this new package. However, I would venture to say that it’ll be at least a $4,000 premium over the base MSRP of the Q70. If I am close, this would put it at just under $54,000 to start and at just under $70,000 at the top end.

With its official debut just around the corner, Infiniti should release its price soon, so stay tuned for more on that.
