Chevy Celebrates 65 Years of Corvette With a Carbon 65 Edition

The 2018 Corvette is right around the corner and with it will come a new carbon-fiber-equipped model to celebrate its 65th anniversary.

Known as the Carbon 65 Edition, this version of the Corvette comes with plenty of goodies, including some carbon bits. This model will be available in both coupe and convertible body styles, with each getting their own assortment of the lightweight material. The coupe will feature visible carbon-fiber ground effects, hood section, roof, and quarter-intake ducts. The convertible will have visible carbon-fiber tonneau inserts. Both models will gain a visible carbon-fiber rear spoiler.

The Carbon 65 Edition will come coated in a Matrix Grey paint with a blue top on convertible models. Rounding out the additions are unique fender stripes and door graphics, black wheels with machined grooves, blue brake calipers, wheel center caps with Carbon logos, and Carbon Flash badges and side-view mirrors. Inside, this special model will have a Jet Black suede upholstery with blue contrast stitching, a carbon-fiber steering wheel, gloss carbon-fiber interior trim, sport seats, and Carbon 65 Edition sill plates.
