Cadillac Offering Vehicle Sampler Service
If you just really hate driving the same car all the time, but love Cadillacs, you’re in luck. The luxury brand has announced a new service called BOOK. You could call it car sharing, but it’s more like car sampling or Spotify for cars.
Cadillac calls it a subscription service. For the low price of $1,500 a month, you get to ditch all the complexities of owning a car. Instead, you can trade for different vehicles as your needs evolve. It’s not like traditional vehicle sharing services, because you’ll always have a car in your driveway. But if you’re going on a road trip and need something big like an Escalade, then want to go back to driving an ATS to the office every day two weeks later, you can do the switch with no hassle.
Thinking about it, this service has some possibilities. Personally, I’d just keep sampling the different V Series models.
Items like maintenance, registration, insurance and such are all handled by Cadillac itself. You just need to gas and go, oh and take the car into a dealership for checkups.
Before you rush to get in on this fantastic deal, know for now it’s limited to just the NYC metro area. Cadillac says it’ll expand elsewhere later.
