Recently, Aston Martin added a new Zagato model to its lineup. This Vanquish Zagato was the perfect combination of stunning Aston design and sharp Zagato touches. Now, a companion to this coupe makes its debut and it’s sure to satisfy fans of both Aston Martin and Zagato.

This model is known as the Vanquish Zagato Volante, and as its name implies, is simply a convertible version of the Vanquish Zagato released earlier this year.

Since it’s effectively a carbon copy of the coupe minus a roof, most of the details are identical to its hardtop sibling. This means that it includes the exclusive carbon-fiber body with large, one-piece panels to minimize gaps between panels. It also includes the same wing mirrors, exclusive round taillights, resculpted rear end, unique headlights, and more. The only thing the coupe has that this model does not is the double-hump roof—the retractable top eliminates this iconic design cue.

Inside, the Vanquish Zagato Volante includes premium materials like herringbone carbon fiber, anodized bronze trim, and premium Bridge of Weir leather upholstery. To set this rig apart from the base Vanquish are the “Z” logos embroidered on the headrests and stitched into the center console, and the Z-quilted upholstery.

Under its hood is the same 6.0-liter V-12 powerplant as the coupe version. This engine churns out 592 horsepower and sprints this exclusive model to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds—0.2 seconds slower than the coupe.

In all likelihood, all 99 examples of the Vanquish Zagato Volante are spoken for. They will start hitting owners’ garages in 2017. Pricing details are not available.
