3. 2013 Acura ILX Hybrid
Acura is often a brand that is left out of the luxury car discussion, but time after time, they put out quality cars that last. With the ILX Hybrid, Acura has a car that is based off its Honda counterpart, the Civic, and an MSRP starting at $28,900. This four-door sedan has the same powertrain as the Civic with an electric motor and a 111 horsepower engine. Many consider it to be slightly louder than average inside, but the overall comfort felt inside with its leather seats and other features make it worth taking for a test drive. One thing to note is that you must use premium fuel when gassing it up. That being said, the 38 MPG combined fuel economy could easily knock out that price increase and then some!
